Psychometrics is the field of study that deals with the theory and method of psychological measurement. It also includes the measurement of knowledge, talents, attitudes, and personality traits. The term “statistical method,” on the contrary, is a mathematical science dealing with the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data.
